Yesterday I went skiing again with my hometown "Koblach-City-Gang" =). Once again we (Timo, Sven, Nicklas and myself) had a really good powder day and fun on the mountain. I just got a new Faible jacket and pants,so I´m the one with the red jacket on the pics.

Sorry for not blogging anything the last days. I was quite busy with filming during the day and being a part of a night show at Fashina, so I needed the rest of the day to catch some sleep. It is soooo amazing how this winter started of. I would call it my best Winter start ever!!! everthing is running well like: Movie, Photos, Snow......

Today was a chilled first powder shooting day. The crew was my brother Markus (Headbud filmer), my buddy Bell and myself. In the morning I had to mount my bindings first and I did it "almost" alone :) my buddy Perdro helped me a little bit, THANKS!
The rest of the day we have been filming some pillow lines. The Snow was really good but there was almost no base below. The weather forecast is bringing more snow for tuesday :) stoked!

Smile & Snow

Today was a big day for me. In the morning I went to the dentist to get one of my front tooth fixed (two years ago I smacked my knee into my face and there I pushed up one of my front tooth into my gum, so this tooth was dead and kinda dark). Well it is all good now and I got my smile back :)

After the dentist I picked up Schöchi and we went to Damüls for some turns. The weather forecast says that there is a big snowstorm coming at the end of the week.

Ski Day!

Yesterday was my first ski day in my home area. My bro Bell picked me up in the morning and we drove up to the ski resort called "Damüls". We had some fun laps hitting small windlips and all kinds of natural stuff.

Last Week In Review

Sunday:

Last weekend we went for a little hike mission. The mission was called "where the fu*k is the snow".

I decided to sing a song to mother nature. The song was called "Hello mother nature where is all the snow gone".

It looks like mother nature was listening last week when I was singing to her with my beautifull voice of an engel, because the weather forecast for this week is SNOW SNOW SNOW.

Monday:

I went skiing at the Stubai glaciar with Fabi, Luggi and Dennis. The jumps where still in a very good shape and fun to hit.

Tuesday-Wednesday:

Nordica invited me to the Nordica Sales Meeting in Sölden. It was really cool because on tuesday me and Bene where skiing with the new Nordica World Cup Skis "SWAG".

On wednesday Jeanny, Patrick, Simone, Marek, Marissa and I had to do a little fashion day. Dolomite hired us to do a little catwalk and a photoshoot with the new collection they have.

I was walking pretty much like those guys :)

By they way we where staying in a really fancy wellness hotel called "Aqua Dome" thanks to Nordica for the awesome stay.

Thursday:

I went back to the Stubai Glacier to hit the Jumps again.

This week I was skiing at the Dachstein glacier and I have to say the rail line is really sick!
But it was kinda hard to ski for me because I´m having a bruised rib at the moment.

And I also reached the 55.555km/h mark this week on my 4x4 Fiat Scudo. I was spending alot of times on the highways driving to all the glaciers in Austria.

Now I´m on the way to Vienna to see the "Flying Bach" show. It is a breakdance show with the world champions in breakdancing called "Flying Steps" so stoked to see them!

Leki catalog shooting and Kaunertal

Last week I spent the whole time on the road with my Fiat Scudo 4x4, after vistiting the Nordica factory I went back to Innsbruck to pick up Oscar at the train station. On friday morning I picked up Schöchi at his house, then we drove to Munich to pick up Paddy at the airport. So the crew was complete and ready to drive to Czech for Leki-Elements catalog shooting.

Finally I went skiing on saturday with Schöchi. It was a pretty cool blue bird day on the Kaunertal glacier.

Today I started to drive early in the morning towards innsbruck to meet up with Martin.
But on the way to Innsbruck the police stopped me and reminded me that the speed limit is 100km/h and not 140km/h......

In Innsbruck I met Martin and we started a little road trip down to italy to get my Nordica boots fitted and customized.

Now we are staying in a fancy hotel called "RELAIS MONACO". We will stay here until tomorrow and then we drive back to Innsbruck.

For the last 2 weeks I was a little bit on the road. First stop was the Freestyle.ch in Zürich. here some Pics:

Besides skiing, snowboarding, bmx, motocross and skateboarding was lil Jon live on stage.

The 2. stop was in Annecy last weekend for the IF3. It was really cool to see all the new movies on a big screen and one of the highlights was for sure "XZIBIT" on the aftershow party.

I would say the last 2 weeks were a pretty good warm-up for the new winter season.

Bali/Lomnok and home travel pics

Bali and Lombok was just f*ck*ng awesome "I Love it". We traveled around whole Bali and we did alot of surfing in Bali and Lombok.

This is Andi our boat driver he´s a really kind, chilled and freindly guy from Gerupuk.

This is maybe the coolest bar on earth!? The bar is right at the "Gerupuk Inside" surfspot. After Surfing we always had a Bintang and a Mi Goreng soup there.

That´s me trying to look like a Pirate with my surf-shirt on the head.

A little local kid in the streets of Gerupuk with his fancy bike and two handsome Goats.

This Dog isn´t dead, he is just chilling in the wather channel and trying to catch some shadow.

That was our Transport from the harbor of Balangen back to Kuta/Bali. Well I guess you should have a look first to the transport before you start talking about the price.... I guess I keep that in my mind for the next Bali trip.

Here is a little update from Bali, such a nice iland! We are staying at the southpart of Bali and I try to update my Blog every week.

At the moment we are having lunch and later me and my buddy bell will check out some surfshops to buy a surfboard and some surfgear. By the way yesterday we went to the Dreamland beach and all of us where renting boards and on my first duckdave I was touching the rocks with my surfboad and fingers........ but its not to bad. I just have little cuts on my fingers and the surfboard was damaged. I guess that wasn´t the best start but I look forward to the nex days =).

Weekend review

Here is a little weekend review:

My flight from Vancouver to Zurich was on thursday. On Friday lunch time Jeanny picked me up at the airport and the weather was the same as in Kanada :( RAIN!.

After I watched a couple of movies on the plain, I decided to watch the movie called "Beastly". The worst movie I have watched for a long long time.

On Sunday my girlfriend Jeanny and my friends Bell and Vagi persuaded me to go hiking. I wasn´t that motivated maybe because of the bad weather we had in the morning, but actually it turned out into a fun day.

Yesterday Oscar and me went shopping in Vancouver. I just bought a pair of shoes and Oscar bought a little bit more as you can see on the pics.

After a liitle shopping tour we drove to the airport because Oscar had his flight home.

My flight is today and I was staying in the ComfortInn Hotel "alone", it was really boring but I went surfing and that was fun as always.

At 1:00am I got hungry so i decided to Order some food. The only delivery service was a chinese restaurant and the minimum to order was 20Dollars. I still have some food left, it was way to much :). Now I get ready for the airport, bye!

Here I have some pictures of the last days in Whistler:

Oscar and his friend Jenny went biking with me. It was the first time ever that i did downhill biking and it was f**king awesome!

Yesterday was awesome. Logan and his dad Eric invited us to go jet-boating at the green river. His dad Eric Pehota is a ski legend and it was a pleasure for us to have him as a driver.

Last night was our last night in Whistler. We had a nice dinner at the sushi village and after that we went to the Sunreal konzert at Longhorn. That guy Sunreal was rocking the stage!

Today Oscar and me jumped on the bus to Vancouver. Vancouver is a really nice city, it reminds me a little bit to Seattle. We where walking around for a bit and then we decided to eat at a place called "Joe" (thanks Tj for the recomend). Both of us ordered a steak and it was delicious!

This is our Hotel room for tonight. At the moment we are watching a movie called "Knight and Day". okay guys I've just fallen asleep 4 times as I've written this blog =) "bed time".

COC Day update 1

Here are some pictures from the first two days at the Camp of Champions in Canada.

Thats Tom and me at the mini ramp area. Tom is going to be my skate teacher for the next days :)

Here we have our LOS filmer "Andre Nutini" practicing some 720´s on the airback.

Here you can see the COC park. As you can see they have everything you need to have fun.

And here we got some salt bags. The shapers have extra machines to salt the park if it gets too slushy. I will try to make a pic of one of those machines next time.

And here are some rail shots. The rail line is really cool here, but you will see it on the edit.

And here is the first good picture I made of a BEAR. I´m really stoked because I haven´t seen bears before in the wild.

That was maybe the craziest animal I have seen in Canada and feeding them is of course on your own risk :)

Traveling to Canada

After a long friday party night I came home at 6:00 in the morning. Then I packed the rest of my gear, woke up my brother because he was driving me to the airport in Zurich.

My first flight was from Zürich to Frankfurt. In Frankfurt I met Tom and the next flight we had was together from Frankfurt to Vancouver.

After a 10 hours flight to Vancouver Andre (LOS-FILMER) was picking us up at the Airport. The car drive to Whistler was about 2 hours.

And this is our little appartment at the Camp of Champions for the next days.

Skate session in "Koblach City"

The weather in the last days/weeks wasn´t that good. I tried many times to go skiing on the glacier but the weather was always changing so fast "dislike". Well here is another skate edit, it is from my hometown Koblach.
I hope the mayor of Koblach CITY "Fritz" will push one day the skate scene again, because he put 10 years ago all the ramps away...........

STREETBALL:

The last weeks the weather changed alot and it was getting really hot actually like in the summertime at some days. I made a little video of the fist streetball session I had with my buddy Benni. He is fucking damn good in basketball and if he wants I wouldn´t make a single point, but he is a nice guy and let me score sometimes :)

GARDENING:

Last summer I started to make my own garden behind the house and last weekend my buddy Bell and me made a fence around the little area. Now my girl Jeanny can work on her tan :)

Red Bull Cold Rush was over and it was fore sure one of the best weeks in my life so far!!!! amzing comp! can´t wait until next year!

Well I missed my flight wich wasn´t that cool. I had to book a new one and I had to stay an extra night in Durango and I missed my friends birthday party and the Hotel was 138USD per night.

After a travel of 16hours I arrived in Munich. My girlfriend "Jeanny" and my buddy "Bell" picked me up at the airport and we went straight into a indoor pool area.

Monday:

On Monday I was planing to take a day off to stay at home but the weather was really good and I decided to go skiing with Marlon in the "Novapark". We had a fun day and we also met a group of funny german´s.

Thusday-Friday:

LOS (Bene, Andre, Pally) came back to my house to shoot some BC kickers in Montafon. Here are some pics of the spots and hiking we did:

It is always really cool to shoot with Bene he is a really good skiier and he is pushing the sport!

We had a really good productive week but it was a little bit to hard for our "youngun" Pally, he had a crash infront of my house :) his shoelaces tangled up in love and that was the reason why he hit the ground but don´t worry, he is fine! By the way thanks for the dinner Pally.

Saturday 26.march:

On Saturday I went with Jeanny and my buddy Bell to the "Snowpark Damüls". It was a really slushy spring day and the weather wasn´t that good but we still had alot of fun!

Red Bull Cold Rush 2011 is over. I had fore sure one of the best times of my life "Thanks RED BULL". Just imagine 3 days skiing BC in Silverton and every day you get at least one heli ride, that was just amazing!

I´m still really stoked that I came in 3rd at the Slopestyle day. Here is a sw5 sequence:

Day 3:
It was the cliff day! I can´t believe how crazy that day was!!!! Sean Petit was going wild he dropt a 70ft. cliff with a huge 360 and stomped the shit out of it. So many people were killing it.

I think I had a pretty good start at the first day. It was the Big Mountain day and I ended up 6th.

We always have a video judging at a little cinema at the hotel after every comp day.

"Red Bull Cold Rush" Koblach-Friedrichshafen-Frankfurt-Denver-Durango-Silverton

I had to leave on friday early in the morning because my flight was depature at 9:00am. Thanks to my buddy "Dan" he was driving me to the airport in Friedrichshafen.
After a travel of almost 25hours I made it to my final destination "Silverton". It is a oldschool town you feel like a cowboy when you walking thru the streets.

My delicious chicken meal! It was actually not to bad, pretty good for a airplain meal.

I was really lucky because I had 2 seats in the economy class that was almost business class =)

This is the Hotel "Gran Imperia Hotel" where I´m staying for the next days. It is a little bit creepy as you can see on the following pics. The Hotel was build in 1882.

This is my Hotel room. Yesterday I was almost the whole time there resting, watching movies and surfing in the world wide web.

I had a productive time the last days.
At the begin I was filming with "Headbud/Pickings" for about 1 week and we have build 3 BC kickers. Two days ago Tobi Reindl from "LOS" called me and asked me what I´m up to!? I told him they should come to the westside to film BC and they did.

After a long time I was skiing some powder again.

It wasn´t deep pow but at some spots it was really good for some turns and pillow hits. At the moment it is still snowing outside and I guess tomorrow will be even a better day at the mountain and way more snow :)

AFO 2011 Final Day

Today was the final day of the AFO 2011. Top riders, a really good shaped park and blue bird. I didn´t get my tricks at the first jump in both of my runs so i didn´t make it into the semi final. All the riders were killing it but at the end it was Andreas, Elias and Roy on the podium.

Yesterday I arived at the "ACTIVE by Leitner's|StyleHotel&Spa am Kitzsteinhorn" where all the riders of the "AFO 2011" are staying. It is a really fancy Hotel!

After a nice skiing day at the Kitzsteinhorn Patrick Hollaus was still wearing his ski stuff and Oscar and me asked him: "what are you up to" and he was like "I´m going to a show at Sallbach Hinterglemm" then he called "Roli" wich is the organizer of the show and he said we are more then welcome to join the show. It was actually a really cool show with amzing beat boxers, fireshow and of course some ski and snowboard action.

After the Show we went to a bar and they had really cool names for the shots as you can see on the last pic.

Red Bull Playstreets 2011

I just returned from the Red Bull Playstreets 2011. Well it wasn´t really good for me I had in both of my runs little problems but my second run was way better and I just got 2 more points for that so I didn´t made it into the finales. I was really disappointed because this is my favorite event of the year.

The Red Bull guys asked patrick, tobi and me if we could do a show run before the finale is happening and we where like:

"hmm we are a bit tired.... and not really motivated"

well at the end we did it :). It was a good idea that i was joining the other guys at the show run, because this morning I was checking the newspaper and there was a shot of me hitting the jump in it.

Red Bull Playstreets 2011 was an amazing event and I can´t wait until next year!

Faible meeting

After some hours talking about cuts, colours........ we drove to Alpendorf where we met our friend Toni Höllwart and he offerd us to stay at his Hotel wich is really fancy as you can see her on the pics.

Serfaus

Today I drove together with Thomas "Fuego" Feuerstein to Serfaus in Tirol. Some people told us that the park is really good there. The first part of the park is a long jib line with rails and boxes ...... the second part has a double kickerline and more rails, Wall, and other jib stuff. It was really fun to ski there becasue you can hit so many features in one lap.

World Champs

Monday:
United Airlines told us we should get our ski bags early in the morning. Well that wasn´t happening so me and Tobi went to the hot tops :) and missed the first training.

Thusday:
Finally we had our ski bags and went to the 2. training wich was our first one. It was really windy and many riders quit the training because of the wind.

Wensday:
before the Quali we had 35min traning wich was kinda short so that was about 2-3 runs. I skied really bad! Maybe that was one of my worst day ever and I came in place 34. Damn!!!

Thursday:
Tobi and I went up to the public park and we had a fun day jibbing the jib park.

Friday:
We had to leave early in the morning. The Shuttle to the Airport was waiting for us at 7:15am.

Yesterday Tobi and me met the Austrian Skier Cross Team at the Munich Airport to travel togther to "Park City" where the World Champion´s is happening. It is the 1. time for Tobi and me doing a FIS event so we don´t now how it is going to be, but of course we hope we gonna have a good time here and all the other big names are coming as well.

Novapark

Today I was driving back home from the adidas eyewear shoot in flachau winkel. On the way back a decided to go skiing at the Novapark. That was a good decision because down at the valley the weather wasn´t that good(fog) but on the way up to the park the sky changed into "BLUE BIRD".

I had a really fun skiday! I guess the reason was the well shaped park!
